Cannabis comprises naturally occurring compounds called Cannabinoids, namely Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD). These cannabinoids interact with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), one of the most important biological and physiological systems in the human body that controls various processes, including mood, sleep, and stress. The cannabinoids, THC and CBD, bind with cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 of endocannabinoids in the body and stimulate to produce chemicals to achieve homeostasis, aka a better, healthier sleep cycle!
