Information about Baidyanath (Jhansi) Ayuvedant Ashwagandha Tablet
Baidyanath (Jhansi) Ayuvedant Ashwagandha Tablet provides the goodness of Ashwagandha, referred to as "Indian ginseng" because of its rejuvenating properties. Primarily, it helps to maintain a healthy balance between the nervous system, endocrine glands and immune system, thus reducing the harmful effects of long-term stress on the body. Ashwagandha is traditionally referred to as an aphrodisiac. It is used in the treatment of shukra kshaya or impotence along with managing vata rogas. The name Ashwagandha is from the Sanskrit language and combines the word ashva, meaning horse, and gandha, meaning smell. The root has a strong aroma that is described as "horse-like." Traditionally, it is believed that a person who consumes this herbal medicine will gain horse-like strength and vitality. It is also referred to as Withania Somnifera(Latin name), Indian Ginseng or Winter Cherry.

The main parts useful for medicinal purposes are root and berry of the plant. Ashwagandha soothes and calms down the stressed mind and nerves. It relieves nervous exhaustion, brain fag, loss of memory, and loss of muscular energy. Besides, it helps to normalize the sympathetic tone that is increased in stress, anxiety and depression.

Ashwagandha, also known as "Winter Cherry," improves the body's ability to maintain physical effort and helps the body adapt to various types of stress. It is perhaps the most famous Ayurvedic rejuvenating botanical used in many tonics and formulas. It helps maintain proper nourishment of the tissues, particularly muscle and bone, while supporting the proper functioning of the adrenals and reproductive system. Modern research has found several types of alkaloids in Ashwagandha, of which somniferine and withaniol are responsible for its multiple actions. Several studies over the past few years have looked into whether Ashwagandha has anti-inflammatory, anti-stress, antioxidant, mind-boosting, immune-enhancing, and rejuvenating properties. Historically Ashwagandha root has also been noted to have sex-enhancing properties.
